They gassed the demonstrators last night in Taksim. Every night at sunset we bang pots and pans. Mom and I banged pots with wooden spoons in unison last night as they began marching through our neighborhood. All of the violence has been contained in Taksim Park, and does not reach Yeni Levent.
Willa Dariff you are prejudiced and ignorant like the person you are trying to defend Paula Deen, because you defend her ideology. Apparently, you take great joy in supporting oppression, and using ethnic slurs. The bright side is that over time you might be able to elevate your level of consciousness. Paula Deen was in a position of power over her employees, as an employer. She used her power as an employer to specifically treat her employees poorly based on race. The defininition of racism is prejudice plus power. Multiple employees have come forward to testify to her statements, and treatment of her employees. It is perfectly acceptable for people who are more enlightened to point out to you the difference between right and wrong. Willa you are ignorant in that you lack knowledge, and noticeably prejudiced as well. Paula Deen has been brought to justice for her longstanding atrociously rascist treatment of her employees. It is acceptable for people with more knowledge and a greater level of social consciousness to enlighten you. That is how you learn things Willa. It might hurt at first. This is not a witchhunt, this is called justice. When you shine the light of truth on longstanding injustice and abuse by an individual, and a group of individuals, the world improves. You should not defend or support people, or ideologies, that maintain oppression and hate. Perhaps, you could stop being such a hateful individual Willa. I have a strong personal dislike for rascists, and I will see you around as well.
